Embroidered squares for Ivy's quilt. I had already assembled it and didn't really like it, so decided to make these squares to add in. Now I have to pick apart some of the stitching in order to swap these in
Working on some ideas for more clothes for Ivy. There used to be this website called Odd Is Good with the most wonderful dresses made from different fabrics and many of them had little aprons from vintage handkerchiefs. I've been playing around with some different fabrics:
I have a bunch of half-price coupons for Joanns and they expire tomorrow. It's also only a few days until payday so finances are a bit tight but half-price. I could get some more linen--I wish I could find a better source, it's 14.99 a yard at Joann's so I wait until I have 50% coupons and then treat myself. I suppose I could cash in my change jar, but I was sort of saving that to get enough money to drive down to the Japanese store in Columbus... but with the price of gas these days I'd spend more getting there than ordering something online. Hm, what do to.
oh gosh, I hear you with the coupon/cash/gas dilemma. I know that all too well.
I really like that orange-y bubbly fabric. very fun!
