I went to Joann Fabrics last night for some elastic, and walked out with this:
It wasn't until I got to the car that I remembered oh yeah. I'm not buying more fabric until I finished that list of projects. Oh well. I did get through quite a few of them.
This reversible skirt for me just needs the waistband stitched down and a buttonhole for the tie
Dotted swiss top for Ivy. I bought the fabric online, and it's not the old-fashioned kind of dotted swiss, it's larger almost chenille kind of dots. Still, I like how it turned out, despite wondering at the wisdom of making white clothing for the grubbiest child ever.
Bodice for a dress. I bought this rose fabric from Joann Fabrics and I should have bought more, it's really lovely in an old-fashioned way and they don't seem to have anymore.
Finally completed this set for the shop, it's from ISBN 9784579109968. I just needed to put the elastic in the bloomers--that's why I had gone to Joann's.
Close up of the embroidery.
This time I'm really not buying any more fabric. I mean it. Really.
