I had taken some pictures of our Halloween decorations, but I forgot to put the memory chip in the camera (how long have we owned this camera? 2 years? 3 years? and I still forget). It's possible to download them off the camera anyway, but I don't know how and I could take the pictures over but it's gray and rainy today and they won't turn out as well. So I'm going to just post some links instead.
Handmade Pretties on Etsy makes the most gorgeous clothing out of recycled sweaters. A few years ago I was really excited about working with sweaters--I made slippers and stuffed creatures. But nothing I made compared to her colorful clothing. I think I might have had better luck if I owned a serger--while you can leave the edges of felted sweaters raw, they tend to stretch and lose their shape, and a hem makes it very bulky. I really love these skirts
I particularly like how she did the waistband, looks very comfortable.
I've been looking at fabric online and I like this Lecien print, reminds me of Liberty prints. I'm just not sure about the purple and orange color scheme.
I like these old fashioned prints by Moda, inspired by quilts of Louisa May Alcott
I'm not sure I like the background, I think I'd like it better if it was a solid color. I should go check it out in person, my favorite quilt shop just got this line in.
This one caught my eye at the quilt shop last weekend, but it seemed to have a sort of sheen to it. I wasn't sure if it was just the sizing and I didn't really like it.
Although I suppose what I really should do instead of looking to buy fabric is put that money towards a new bike.
